Color: Pale Silver
Nose: Jasmine floral notes, green apple
Taste: Lemon Zest, Pear, and plentiful mineral notes.
Assessment: Light bodied, crisp and clean. I enjoyed the bright acidity and reserved nature of this wine. This is the first Grenache Blanc I’ve had, and frankly, I expected something more unique. While it is enjoyable, there is nothing from a character perspective that really sets this bottle apart from other light bodied white wines in this price range. Ready to drink now.
Rick Boyer’s Grenache Blanc is a good wine. 86 points.
Pairing recommendation: Mild Cheese, light fish, well ripened melon.
