About the Winemaker:  Dave Harvey has been winemaking for 24 years.  The Cabernet Franc Vineyard this offering is sourced from sits alongside the last free flowing portion of the Columbia river.  Columbia valley wines are known to benefit from Volcanic soil this wine is no exception.

Color:  Dark Scarlet

Nose:  Cherry, chocolate, rasins

Taste:  Cherry, berries, dried plum, pencil shavings, vanilla

Assessment: This release has well balanced tannins and acidity.  It’s fruit forward with a bit of the earthiness that typically comes with wines from the Pacific Northwest. It’s medium bodied with a silky texture.  Most importantly it tastes good, it’s a good value, and any guest outside of those with a preference for sweet wines will enjoy it.  This is a wine well suited to take advantage of a case discount.   Ready to drink now.

Dave Harvey 2017 Cabernet Franc is a good wine.  86 Points.

Pairing recommendation:  Pair with bruschetta, a ribeye, leg of lamb, or a slice of chocolate silk pie.

I purchased this wine at a discount utilizing the same offer I have for you below, or you can buy a single bottle here.
